Do you think you are closer to God during the school year, or during summer break? During the school some people seem to get caught up in homework, sports, peer pressure and lots of other things. Whereas in summer, church camp takes place which is always a place where you can get closer to God. How do you stay close to God during these times? i think..you face alot of peer preasure during the school year.but then again you face alot of temptation during summer break.so really i think u get closer to god during the summer break...because during school your around alot of cursing and thats going into ur spirit and thats what i think :)

I try to stay closer to God all year around..Although I know we have a tendency as humans just to wait till convention and camps..because then its easier..a bunch of young people all tyring to live for God just like you!..I know that things at school get hard but if others are willing to speak their minds at school and they are willing to stand up and stand out..then why shouldn't us pentecostal's?? The bible says if your ashamed of him he'll be ashamed of you..so if we stand up for what we believe people will see that courage and they will respect that..most people just try to find a place to feel loved..so all the bad stuff they do is just a place where they can find comfort or a place to fit in..so if we find that in God then it shouldn't be that hard to stand up! I believe in you girl=) Stay strong this school year.. love ya

As a mom i think the school year. i do pray and read my Bible and study for my Sunday school lessons all year long but when my boys are at school i can really take to time to listen after i pray there are times when they boys are home i really get in the zone for prayer and it helps them slow down and pray with me. We do pray with our boys every night all year but during the school year they bring needs home from school and can really see the hand of God working through them at school ( even when i have my doubts )God is working through them because i am praying for people i would never know. So i think i feel closer to God during the school year. His hand is very present. :)
