kacie, kace. i can honestly say i don't have a clue what i'm doing with my life. and i can honestly say, what i tell you won't even be the half of me. i can't describe how i feel most of the time and quite frankly, it gets rather annoying. i'm a rather rude person when it comes down to it. and selfish, and lazy, and pessimistic but who gives. i'm not really a people person if i don't know you, or if i can tell i don't plan on knowing you. seems mean, but it happens. everyone has a down side to them. this is mine. on a straight note though, i really am more confused than a teenage boy waking up on his grandparents front lawn. naked.
now you must be thinking, why would she explain the bad? because in truth it's there. and i want people to know it. to get the chance pick at my flaws like a fresh wound because we all know it's going to happen anyways. but now im here to tell you
i've been learning, slowly but surely, to just embrace the events and pleasures of life as they come at me taking it one step at a time. going with the flow is so much easier than being closed to the world worrying about who's going to criticize you next. i've realized that it doesn't matter anyways. i want to live my life how i want now. to be myself with not a care in the world who stares and points or laughs at my insanity. i truly believe imperfection is beauty, madness is geinous, and its better to be absolutely ridiculous, than absolutely boring. a saying everyone should give a little consideration to, because we just get the one life, you know. just one. you can't live someone else's or think it's more important just because it's more dramatic. what happens matters. may be only to us, but it matters.
i was outside barefoot. the only thing i could feel was my heart beating, and the rain pouring down on me. all i ever think about is you.
Promise yourself..
to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. to talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. to make all your friends feel like there is something worthwhile in them. to look at the sunny side in everything and make your optimism come true.to think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best. to be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. to forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. to wear a cheerful expression at all times and to give a smile to every living creature you meet. to give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.to be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.to think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds. to live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
